A subpoena was taped to the front door of an address I no longer live at.?

My friend who lives there now brought me an envelope with just my first and last name on it- hand written. it is a subpoena to testify as a witness in a criminal trial. However, I do not want to go. How are subpoenas supposed to be served in Cleveland Ohio. How would the court know if I have ever received the subpoena if it was just taped to a door. Will there be a penalty if I never 'legally' received a subpoena?
