My husband is out of the country on a business trip for a week. Do I have to accept a subpoena for him?

You don't have to but you are not doing him a favor by not accepting it. It isn't like they aren't going to get it to him sooner or later. Accept the service, read the subpoena to him over the phone and possibly start acting on it if needed. Either with his lawyer or otherwise.
