I recieved a subpeona, what can I do?

I was subpoenaed to testify as a witness in a divorce case, I know if I testify it may mean more trouble for me and my family than I need. I don't even think that what I could say would benefit the one who had me subpoenaed. What are my options? If testifying means risking danger to myself and my kids?
